Next Step: Plumbing!

Downstairs...

These pipes which are in the porch travel up the wall to the small bedroom. we decided to route them here as it avoided pipes within the house itself. I didnt want to box off any corners in either the front room or kitchen. they will be covered with MDF and packed for insulation. fingers crossed it was the right idea!

Typical, the raiator had been on the wall a matter of minutes and was already used as a shelf!

The front room...

Paolo's handy work!! :)

Upstairs!!

This is the small bedroom where the pipes come up from the porch. This is one room i'm never sleeping after seeing a tarantula under the floor boards! ok, not a tarantula but it stared at me like i was dinner! that bits true!

Master Bedroom...

David and I have are just completing the 15mm pipes to the radiators. no sign of the spider! thats a good thing!

Who would have thought I would have come so long on the path of plumbing riteousness. from flooding the downstairs at the beginning to now fitting pipes. what a journey!

I'd like to say i was caught off guard but i heard the steps coming my way and knew it was picture time!

Bathroom...

I cant believe we now have a towel radiator! It took some ingenius work to get it on the wall it turned out well. to be fair it took longer to decide exactly where to put it! all i could hear was, "left a bit, no right a bit, now left a tiny bit"

The Final part of the plumbing!!

The genius work below was added by me. after watching David and great tuition I decided to have a go myself! These pipes were rather difficult as they needed to be bent in to shape. I shaped them two fold firstly, to the valve of the radiator and then creating a 90 degree bend under the floorboards. this was to minimise the number of joints needed.

Spare Bedroom...

I did this part and totally understand how careful you need to be to ensure the pipes dont cross over or touch!
